Dia de Los Muertos is an annual celebration of the lives of those who are no longer with us. Beautifully decorated sugar skulls are traditionally left out as offerings for deceased friends and relatives while stories of their lives are remembered and shared.
This is my take on the sugar skull, as a way of remembering those who have passed in a happy light, and to keep their memories alive.
Argentium silver with torch-fired glass enamel. Skull is 1" tall and hangs just over 1.5" from the ear.
Argentium is highly tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic and 100% recycled precious metal.
